Dekalb 911 Gets New Equipment

Dekalb 911 has been busy updating it's dispatch the new pictures will be on the website soon. We are now phase 2 compliant which means we can now receive 911 calls from cell phones and have the location down to a few feet. Thanks to our new mapping system a call can come in and automatically be displayed on the screen showing roads and surrounding structures. This is very helpful in cases where the caller may not be able to tell the dispatcher where they are. Be sure to check out the pictures under the dispatch picture link.
